Management (Former Employee) says"Horrible leadership from the top. Questionable business practices. Stuck in the 1980's and refuse to change. Very poor benefits. No planning in the entire company beyond the current day. Promote incompetent people from within that have no qualifications. You are only cared about if you are needed for something. As soon as someone isn't needed, they go back to not caring. Hands down the worst company I have ever work for or even read about. If you are not a "good ole boy", you are expendable. If you are in the "club", you can do no wrong. I wouldn't work for this company at any location if it was the last job on earth. Cons: Pay, benefits, environment, no 401k match"
Machine Operator I (Former Employee) says"I worked there almost 3 years and they laid me off cause my supervisor and I didn't work well together. They don't care that you put in overtime and shower up for work on time. Cons: Everything"
Final Assembly (Former Employee) says"The employees on the floor are treated like peasants while the employees with the desk jobs are treated like royalty.I busted my butt for that company and was let go because of a missunderstanding. If you are a hardworking employee who bust their butt EVERY DAY I encourage you to look somewhere else for work because this job is not for you."
Assembly Worker (Current Employee) says"Absolutely a horrible and unsafe job, I would never go back to this job and would never recommend this job for anybody. The management belittles employees and treats them like they mean absolutely nothing and when you do beyond what you are asked for at this job instead of getting recognition or a pay raise or any type of sense of accomplishment it doesn’t happen. They just give you more work and harder job codes with no raise Cons: Everything..... literally"
Basic Machine Operator (Former Employee) says"Don’t care about you as a person, constantly wonder why you can’t hit rate when there machines are always broke. If you need something from the HR department you better have all evidence standing your ground. If you feel like being overworked and unappreciated. This is your place! Cons: You’ll work Third"
CNC Set-Up Operator (Current Employee) says"If you are looking for a negative, condescending, work place that wishes to do nothing other than pass blame to the employee despite the lack of training, leadership, and support then look no further!!!!! Don’t take my word for it or any of the other indeed reviews. Take a gander into this destructive work environment. Cons: Management"
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) says"They didn't offer much for maintenance pay didn't offer any schooling for CNC mechanic certification. Was a company I would never work for again no matter the pay. Cons: Boring"
CNC Setup Technician (Former Employee) says"The management and production team hate eachother."
Management Team Member (Current Employee) says"hypro was one of the most challenging places I ever worked. From broken leader ship, broken machines, and lack of training for good people will insure this company will only break even and never be profitable. If you like working in chaos and have no aspirations for yourself this is the place for you."
Worker (Former Employee) says"No job security and terrible leadership. Will never work for this company again. Very unprofessional and unorganized. Very negative work environment and no training."
AMO CNC Machine Operator (Current Employee) says"I loved my co-workers. Management is very biased, and clicky, make you feel like you are a lower form of life, unless you came through the door already a relative or a friend , or friend of a friend. Double standards, they do not have an employee hand book/rule book. No written policies, Cons: everything else"
Bendix (Former Employee) says"Very unorganized company constantly running out of parts leading to no work in your dept to get bounced around to a bunch of other machines you've never ran before you're expected to have the knowledge to run multiple machines but your pay stays the same shop floor is very disorganized and filthy machines constantly break down and are never correctly fixed they just keep band aiding it most are wore out and then you get reamed when you dont meet your numbers pay is a joke training sucks and alot of petty rules"
Supervisor /Set Ups/Advanced Machine Operator (Current Employee) says"Work without any breaks other than a 15 minute lunch. It's a good place to learn cnc machines but I recommend leaving after getting experience . The management is poor they only care about their bonuses. No room for advancement . If you dont personally know management you cant hardly get a promotion"
Advanced Machine Operator (Current Employee) says"This company does one good thing. They will hire you with no CNC experience and train you. Other than that, management is completely disconnected from what's going on out on the shop floor."
Operator (Current Employee) says"This place is loaded with false promises. Cons: everything else"
AMO/Assembler/Setup/Lead Over Lathe and CAT Mills (Former Employee) says"Cannot advance unless you stand out and are male. Stand out means that you are a goid bull talker. Benefits need a lot of work. management are good people but have tunnel vision worried about product out the door then people."
Industrial Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) says"Plant manager cannot keep things together. $600,000.00 behind due to low pay and drug use. Some people are cut-throat. Extremely stressful plant in Vinita. Cons: Plant manager was horrible."
Machine Operator (Current Employee) says"Busniess is closing in cedar falls location...great people to work with..wore multiple hats..ran multiple machines..did cleaning...fix tool sheets..restart neighbors machines..."
Quality Control Inspector (Former Employee) says"Learned how to use a machine to tell dimensions of a certain part. Hardest part of the job was staying awake during the night hours. There really was no enjoyable part of the job. The management was okay. Cons: pay and hours"
Advanced Machine Operator/Lead (Former Employee) says"15 minute lunch, horrible ownership, don't care about their employees, all about the dollar, horrible benefits, dangerous work environment, garbage"
Former Employee - Machine Operator says"I worked at HyPro full-time for more than a year Cons: Management does not Care about anything I was there 2 years and there was probably 200 plus people come and go"
Former Employee - Machinist says"I worked at HyPro full-time for more than a year Cons: Lack of training. Lack of support. Blame is always on the machinist. Only 1 15 minute break. Lack of maintenance."
says"I have been working at HyPro Cons: Management sucks really really bad and I mean bad"
says"I worked at HyPro Cons: Pay well below industry standards, terrible benefits, management is clueless."
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I have been working at HyPro full-time for more than 5 years Cons: Cheap, cheap, cheap. Poor benefits, almost no raises. Revolving door of new employees. Upper management is clueless. Most employees will stab you in the back if you turn around. Lots of promises, but nothing ever comes through. Will work their senior employees to death if you let them. New ceo is all about filling his pockets and giving employees nothing but lies. Everyday is a Easter egg hunt for tools, inserts, gauging, deburring equipment, etc... Management will hire anybody, good record or bad, so we get some real winners. Stay away unless this is your last option!!!!"
Former Employee - BMO says"I worked at HyPro full-time for more than a year Cons: Management doesn't care about employees future or welfare. They use employees as cheap labor while a select few receive training to move up. Those that receive the training quickly found another job to better their lives. The CEO is a joke and wants employees to feel sorry for him because of his bad corporate decisions. He hires management and forget about the plant except for daily number reports. The times I've met him he makes promises and rules only to have his management staff quickly disregard his times and run the plant differently than promises. No room for advancement. Hard workers are expected to never have a bad day and if they do they are threatened with termination. They promise a lot only to avoid raises and overtime. They have no rules I writing so they can fire employees for whatever reason they choose. Avoid this company at all costs."
Former Employee - Lathe Operator says"I worked at HyPro full-time for less than a year Cons: I was told that I would be given 90 days of training and moved there because I had worked in a factory for 13 years, and enjoyed it. I received 2 weeks training and one day working on a lathe. I moved into my apartment on Sunday and was terminated on Monday. They said I was too slow. They only pay $10.30 per hour, not much more than McDonald's and Walmart."
Former Employee - Machinist says"I worked at HyPro full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Management could use a reality check."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at HyPro full-time for more than 3 years Cons: They lack customer diversity at the Cedar Falls plant. Most of their work is reliant on a certain multinational agriculture company having strong sales, which means lay-offs happen when they don't. As far as advancement, you may become a lead or supervisor rather quickly compared to other manufacturing plants. Most supervisors howevrr, the ones without a specific type of criminal conviction anyway, end up leaving for better paying operator jobs at a nearby pump manufacturer or that "big green tractor" company I mentioned above."
Former Employee - Machine Operator says"I worked at HyPro part-time for more than a year Cons: They do not train you how to become a setup tech or advance you at all"
Richard Hennessey says"The ad said 8" lid but i received a 6" not happy"
Blair Griffin says"Good selection, technicians were very helpful"
Albert Roach says"I ordered a Shurflo pump you gave me a generic trying to give me the bait and switch not what I wanted I was going to return it but I want to bother you just charge Mia stalking fee it should be a law against what you do bait and switch it's not a Shurflo pump it's some generic fault"
RICHARD woody says"It's been two weeks and I still haven't received my order"
